Australian Rules Football - Putting your body on the line
More images below.

This is the part of a series of short videos illustrating various aspects of Australian Rules Football.

Aussie Rules players will often put their "body on the line" during the course of play. A player will stand and wait for a mark knowing that an opponent is about to crash into him from behind or throw himself into a contest with no regard to his own safety.

In this video we see St Kilda's Brett Voss take an accidental knock to the head and is clearly suffering minor concussion. As he is being helped from the field by trainers he shakes them off and gets involved in the play again even though he is quite unwell. He came back on to play half way through the next quarter.
